And because the spine is the central core of all movement and nerve/chi function throughout the body, the proper title became clear, Spinal Essentials, and it is these same essential movements that also form the foundation for exercises performed on Gyrotonic equipment. Also included on this DVD is the Balancing Aerobic Sequence, which is performed completely in the standing position, and it represents a more overtly cardiovascular component of Gyrokinesis methodology, though in actuality all Gyrokinesis exercises and programs can be said to stimulate various bodily systems: nervous, cardiovascular, digestive, lymphatic and others.
