Having a healthy self view of your body is paramount if you are to maintain a positive self image. Everything in your life will begin from the point of how you view yourself. Beauty has little to do with external appearances and whole lot do with viewing yourself with love and acceptance.

This requires changing your mindset to one of personal acceptance and generosity. By this I mean, most people are often more accepting towards other peoples “imperfections” than they are towards their own. You must become contented with your personal situation. However, you should also continue to set goals to improve yourself. You could perhaps say that this is healthy contentment overlapped by a healthy dissatisfaction. This really is the formula for a healthy personal attitude that is energized with enthusiasm for life.

You first must be willing to totally comfortable with yourself as you are and understand that you are a wonder creation. Stop all the negative self talk and begin to fill your thoughts with “self love” and acceptance. This suggests that you should not speak negatively about yourself to anyone or to yourself. Be sincere in your conversations. And finally, start to make some attainable goals for yourself.
